HMS Stalker is recorded

Landing Ship Tank HMS STALKER is now being scrapped at Pounds Yard in Portsmouth. National Historic Ships has been monitoring her situation for some time and, when every attempt to find a new home for her failed, has been making regular visits to the vessel during the dismantling process to ensure a full record is kept. Photographs and information about the vessel will be stored by National Historic Ships according to the guidelines set out in 'Understanding Historic Vessels' (published 2007) and will be publically available as part of the National Archive of Historic Vessels.
