Olga
27 August 2009

Swansea Museum has recently restored Olga a Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter in time for her 100th anniversary. Olga it is hoped will become a living heritage item taking youth and community groups on board and sailing from next spring. The museum currently has a project running whereby young people are being trained to RYA accredited competent crew level to assist the yacht master along with providing information on the history and context of Olga and run educational activities on board.
If anyone has information on maritime educational activities that could be delivered on board or on the pontoon, or have any spare items that may be used for handling sessions on board please could they contact
