Visit to paddle steamer Ryde

On Friday 19 February, a group of experts comprised of Mark Young (Ryde Preservation Trust), Hannah Cunliffe (National Historic Ships), a naval architect, shipwright and conservation consultant visited the paddle steamer Ryde (member of the National Historic Fleet) at her current location on the Medina, Cowes. She was found to be in poor condition and the group are now reviewing the best solution for her future. The images below were taken on the day.
