Photography Competition 2013
National Historic Ships UK is running its 2013 Photography Competition in partnership with Classic Boat magazine and First News.
Entries for 2013 are encouraged from all those with an interest in maritime heritage, including school children, historic vessel owners, maritime enthusiasts and those with knowledge of traditional skills or nautical techniques.

NHS-UK offers a monetary prize of £1,000 for the Overall Winner of Categories A-D, to be spent on a theme or activity involving a vessel from the National Register of Historic Vessels (NRHV). We are delighted to announce that we have a new sponsor, Berthon Boat Company, who is supporting Category D.
This year, for the first time, we are launching a NEW Category called 'Faces of the Sea', and the intention is for the public to shortlist this category by voting online - watch this space for further details.
We will be selecting our 'Favourite image of the month' from our Featured Entries page. The chosen entrant will receive a small prize kindly donated by a member of our Judging panel.
Our Young Photographer 2013 categories are supported by downloadable resources aimed at younger children. Illustrator and competition sponsor Claudia Myatt has kindly provided a Whale of a Wordsearch and a Classic Sail printable colouring page.
