Grants and Funding
These pages contain details of our small grants scheme, including its Flagship of the Year award. National Historic Ships' UK awards are some of the few given to privately owned vessels, as well as those owned by trusts and museums, and offer help with training, attending conferences and making your vessel sustainable. See the Grants Awarded page for information on the types of awards we have made.
Also included here are details of the Marsh Award (which offers £1,000 to a volunteer who has made a valuable contribution to the conservation of a historic ship), and the Raymarine Award (which will see electronic equipment to the value of £4,000 awarded to a registered historic vessel as a means of helping keep our operational maritime heritage safe).
A page is also included on other funding sources - the major grant-giving organisations - but these are generally only available to vessels which are owned by trusts and museums.
