History

SARAH BIRCH is a barge of iron construction with an inboard diesel engine by J T H McLaren of Leeds. She was built by W H Warren of New Holland and worked out of Beverley where she was owned by a Tannery. She is now based at Hirst Boat Builders of Knottingley where she is undergoing restoration.
