History

PISCES is a Star Class Small Northwich, a Narrow Boat built in 1935 by W J Yarwood of Northwich. She is of steel plate construction and has a Lister HA2 diesel engine. During her working life on the canals she served as a fire boat during World War II. For the past thirty years the vessel has been used as a Community Narrowboat based at Harefield on the Grand Union Canal.
