Register now for this free virtual event from National Lottery Heritage Fund's Digital Heritage Lab: 'Reaching Digitally Excluded Audiences'.

This event is for people working or volunteering in a small to medium sized heritage organisation with some digital knowledge.

Millions of people in the UK are digitally excluded for a range of reasons, at a time when there is more focus on digital and digital delivery of services than ever before.  In this online workshop Christina Lister will take a closer look at what we mean by digitally excluded audiences, why and in what ways people are digitally excluded, and who they are.

Christina will help you identify who your digitally excluded audiences are. Understanding why audiences are digitally excluded will help you reach, communicate and engage with these audiences in ways that are inclusive and that work for them.

Christina will share case study examples of how small to medium sized heritage organisations have successfully engaged with digitally excluded audiences.

You will gain an understanding of why and how people are digitally excluded; identify who your digitally excluded audiences are, and gain ideas and examples of the ways in which you can engage with digitally excluded audiences.

Time: Wednesday 26th May, 10.30-12.00 BST

The Digital Heritage Lab is funded by The National Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the Digital Skills for Heritage Initiative.
