“Beside the Seaside” display at Medway Archives
Monday 6th June until Tuesday 26th July.

As a follow up to the Jubilee weekend, the Medway Queen Preservation Society have arranged a display of the ship's history, entitled "Medway Queen Beside the Seaside", at the Medway Archive Centre, 32 Bryant Road, Strood, Rochester ME2 3EP, from Monday 6th June to Tuesday 26th July.

The display charts Medway Queen’s history as an excursion vessel with panels covering the Spithead Naval Reviews and the Second World War as well as the “day job” of excursions across the Thames Estuary. TEN panels in all charting the "in service" history of our ship in words and images.

If you haven't got all the Medway Queen history books yet they are on sale when you visit at the Medway Archive Centre.

Admission is free, opening hours:
9am to 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.
The site is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Drop in when you are in the area or, on a Saturday, combine seeing this display with a visit to the ship at Gillingham Pier which is only about 4 miles away by road.
