Pellew is the ninth Pilot cutter to have been built by Luke Powell at Truro and is also the biggest.  Launched at the end of February 2020, Pellew is 68ft on deck and is the largest wooden gaff cutter to have been launched in recent years.

Having undergone sea trials at the end of May 2020, Pellew will be joining Agnes out on the water exploring the Cornish coastline and also sailing to the Isles of Scilly.

However in June and July 2021 she will be heading North to explore the west coast of Scotland.  A perfect playground for her with great sailing to be had alongside some perfect opportunities for exploration ashore.  The team always enjoy their summer adventures and look forward to heading out to the Outer Hebrides as much as possible and hopefully even St Kilda is the weather allows.

Pellew's 2020 sailing schedule.

Agnes will be focusing on what she does best!  She will be delivering a fun and engaging West country and Brittany schedule of sailing trips.  No sailing experience is required as you sail this 46ft traditional Gaff rigg cutter from her home port of Falmouth.  Whether it is a long weekend sailing in Cornwall you are looking for or a more adventurous 6 night sailing holiday to the Isles of Scilly then there is plenty to choose from.  She will also be heading south to Brittany for two trips for the Paimpol music festival and an also an extended cruise. There is plenty of variety and hands on sailing is guaranteed.
