Peter Mumford

 

Peter Mumford took his first photograph in 1958 and created his own darkroom when he was sixteen.  Following a career of twenty years as a shipbroker on The Baltic Exchange, he joined Beken of Cowes in 1992.  Peter worked until last year as half of Beken's photographic team, taking the largest proportion of the colour photographs sold by the firm today.

 Rob Peake

 

Rob Peake is editor of Classic Boat magazine. He has previously worked on a number of leading boating titles as both editor and deputy editor, including Yachting Monthly and Motor Boat & Yachting. As a skipper, he has covered many thousands of miles at sea under both power and sail.

J Wishart

Jock Wishart is one of the UK's leading maritime and polar adventurers. His rowing, polar trekking and extreme navigational feats include rowing the Atlantic, setting 15 world records on a circumnavigation of the globe in a powerboat and captaining a team which broke the London to Paris rowing record in 1999.  Last year his lifetime interest in polar exploration resulted in an historic expedition which resulted in his crew of 6 oarsmen becoming the first to row to one of the Earth's Polw positions - the 1996 Magnetic North pole during The Old Pulteney Row to the Pole expedition.  He has just been awarded the rarely given Mungo Park medal for 'outstanding contribution to Geographical Knowledge' by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society (R.S.G.S).  Recently he has been competing in British Classics Week and as navigator for a 105ft Yacht in the Super Yacht Cup in Cowes.

 T Clarke

Tracey Clarke is a media strategiest, wordsmith, broadcaster, event producer and presenter.  She has worked in law, run a PR company, advised on media strategy and crisis management. She has also put theory into practice and worked as a broadcaster in commercial radio and the BBC, and as a writer and journalist.  She now advises companies on their use of the media, both in the UK and globally, and on the effective use of communications in marketing and public/ press relations.  Her media production company, Event Broadcast, specialises in event production, radio broadcasting and news syndication from live events.  Other diverse work has included acting as a press officer for an expedition (Ascend the Nile), producing and presenting Royal visits, commentating for the Crufts “Best in Show” and sitting as a strategic communications advisor on crisis management teams

 Paula Br

Paula Brikci has worked at Arts Council England since 2011. Her work at ACE revolves around championing the importance of curatorial expertise and the value of research and collections. She began her career in heritage as a trainee archivist at Lambeth Palace Library before joining BP Plc. to manage their archive collection. 

 Paul Atterbury

Paul Atterbury, lecturer, writer and broadcaster specialising in the art and design of the 19th and20th centuries. He has a particular interest in the history of transport and has written a number of books about railways and canals. He has been actively involved in maritime preservation through being a patron of the Daniel Adamson trust.
