History

WILWREN is an admiralty launch, sold out of service on 27 February 1961. She was registered at Southampton in 1968 and, in 1999, her engine was by Fodens Ltd, 6 cylinders, 126bhp, 94kw, 9 knots, made in 1952. Her first owner was the Williams Shipping Company (Fawley) Ltd and she was then sold on 10 March 1981 to Belsize Boatyard Ltd, 44 Priory Road, St Denys, Southampton. She was sold again on 8 September 1982 to marine engineer Glen Leonard Meddick of Rutland Court, Bitterne, Southampton. Her current owner bought her in 1984.
