History

KARINDA was commissioned for a private owner and was built between 1957 and 1959 by William Bates and Sons of Chertsey. She is a fine original example of this beautiful historic British marque which was one of the first to encourage the post war boating boom and which added a touch of glamour at boat shows and on the river Thames in the 50's and 60's. KARINDA is one of only about 30 out of the 90 or so built of this type that are still afloat.
