As the programme of work increases, the Museum is seeking to expand its capacity to ensure the project sets new standards for engagement across the heritage sector.  This is an exciting new role which will be responsible for developing and delivering a programme of interpretation, communication and engagement activities to increase awareness of this complex and fascinating conservation project. 

We are looking for an experienced interpretation professional who is confident in working on complex projects with diverse teams.  You will be effective in developing and delivering physical and digital interpretation creatively which communicates sophisticated and detailed concepts in a way that is easy to engage with and transforms understanding in our audiences.  Driving excellent internal communication across NMRN’s shipwright, archaeological, conservation, programming, operational and marketing teams, you will coordinate the work necessary to deliver this objective.  You will be a champion of audience interests and provide guidance to the Project team to ensure our audiences are at the heart of what we do and that we deliver high-quality, world-class content.
