Ian Clark Restoration

In combining 30 years engineering experience within the field of industrial and maritime heritage conservation, Ian Clark is able to offer a multi-disciplined and dedicated service. Working on a number of prestigious contracts both nationally and internationally, Ian has been professionally accredited as a conservator/restorer by the Institute of Conservation. Contracts have been completed on behalf of local and central government funded collections as well as private sector clients. A diversity of work can be undertaken from all aspects of practical conservation and restoration to machinery surveys. In addition, full condition surveys and technical specifications can be prepared as part of grant application of Heritage Lottery bids. Ian Clark was awarded the Pilgrim Trust Award for conservation 2002 for the conservation and display of HOLLAND 1 submarine, a National Historic Ships core collection vessel.
