During restoration Pilgrim will offer traditional boat builders and craftsmen the opportunity to use their skills eg. Shipwrights, riggers and net makers, with the possibility of apprenticeships being offered. Once restored, Pilgrim will offer a unique insight of life as a victorian fisherman. Her top deck will be restored as closely as feasible to original condition, including a working trawl. A display of artefacts will enhance appreciation of the history of the fishing industry and sailing trawlers. Normally based in Brixham, she will be able to travel to other ports. Sail training, private chartering, day trips, team building exercises will be available as well as guided tours and educational visits in conjunction with schools. She will be accessible to people from all walks of life and abilities, including computer/dvd links for less able visitors.
