National Museums NI is an ambitious organisation delivering award-winning museum services to more than 900,000 visitors annually. Our mission is to:
National Museums NI was established by the Museums & Galleries (NI) Order 1998, and comprises the Ulster Museum, Ulster Folk Museum, Ulster Transport Museum and Ulster American Folk Park. The organisation receives its core funding from the Department for Communities (DfC), but generates income and sponsorship from a variety of other sources to meet its revenue and capital expenditure needs.
Front of House Assistants play a key role in the delivery of a positive and customer focused experience. Working across the welcome area, admissions desk and retail areas, the role represents the first and last point of contact for visitors and is important in supporting our mission of ‘Here for Good.’
Across all key touchpoints, Front of House Assistants are responsible for optimising organisational sustainability and enhanced visitor engagement through active promotion of National Museums NI membership, map sales, retail sales and donations.
Front of House Assistants have a passion and enthusiasm for sales and visitor experience, with a clear understanding of the importance of the front of house areas and how they fit within the visitor journey.
We are looking for 1 full time and 2 part time (24 hours) Front of House Assistants to join the team.
