Shipshape North brings together traditional skills, services and facilities across Cheshire, Cleveland, Cumbria, Durham, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Humberside, Lancashire, North Lincolnshire, Tyneside, Northumberland, and the Isle of Man. It acts as a focal point connecting vessels, projects, organisations and specialists including: Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre; Hull – Yorkshire’s Maritime City project; the Humber Keel and Sloop Preservation Society; Sunderland Maritime Heritage; Windermere Jetty Museum; the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port; the Dock Museum at Barrow-in-Furness; the Daniel Adamson Preservation Society and a range of craft from the National Register of Historic Vessels.
