History

AURELIA is a one-off design by Tammy Moncrieff of Lerwick, Shetland and was built by Hay & Co of Lerwick in 1952 for Dr H J Harcourt of the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club. She was sold in 1958 and later was left in the Baltic in poor condition. Her designer sailed her back to Shetland and presumably, restored her. Eventually, she was purchased by her present owner in 1999 and is to be found sailing and racing successfully off the west coast of Scotland.
