History

RHIJALICA is a twin engined motor boat built in 1965 by Thomas Hughan & Co of East Greenwich and fitted out by Tough Brothers of Teddington. She was first owned by the author and adventurer Roger Pilkington.  Bearing the name THAMES COMMODORE and designed with a shallow draft she cruised waterways and canals in the UK and Europe.

In 1987 she was sold and a major refurbishment was carried out by Tough Brothers and In 2010 the vessel was found in Wight Harbour, Isle of Wight where she was bought by her current owner.. The vessel was made seaworthy and relaunched in 2011.
