Hannah worked as an independent maritime researcher and consultant for ten years before taking the post of Policy & Project Manager in 2009. She has been Director of National Historic Ships UK since 2017.
Paula has worked for the various incarnations of National Historic Ships UK since 2001. As well as overseeing the office, she manages the organisation's finances, website and annual Awards programme.
Victoria originally joined NHS-UK as Office Administrator. She now leads on various projects including our SHTP2 training partnership and Historic Vessel Conservation course. She is currently on maternity leave.
After 20 years as a picture researcher, Kathryn volunteered at the National Maritime Museum before joining NHS-UK as Administrator in 2019. Her role includes running our social media accounts and writing the monthly newsletter.
Peter was a Radio Officer in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service before moving into the Oil & Gas industry. After taking early retirement, and having built a few small craft over the years, he took a Boatbuilding course and spent 10 months working in a traditional boat yard.
Originally from Lisbon, where he interned at the Portuguese Maritime Museum, Luis moved to the UK to study maritime design history. He will work on our various projects, particularly the annual Awards programme and the Shipshape Network.
A former academic and emeritus professor in the history of pharmacy, Stuart was a member of the research team for our War and the Sea project. He now provides research support across a range of initiatives at NHS UK.
