Crafts of the Sea is a companion short film that many of you won't have heard of. Until now.
The film ventures into the workshops of the skilled tradespeople behind traditional sailing vessels - sailmakers, oarmakers, caulkers, riggers and more - celebrating the natural materials and intricate craftsmanship that keep these traditions alive.
The film has been selected for the Off Beat Folk Film Festival, screening 12th May 2026 in Peckham, London. Tickets are available; see our website for more details.
