History
PHOEBE is a narrowboat or dayboat, built for the Birmingham Canal Navigations. Her hull is made from riveted wrought iron plates and she has a pointed bow with a raked curved stem and a pointed stern. She carried hot, cropped tube ends and was known as a 'hotholer'. She is currently in poor condition, being badly corroded and damaged.
