History

INTEGRITY fished for herring between 1895 and 1908 out of Lowestoft and Yarmouth before being sold to the Norwegians where she fished until being requisitioned by the Germans during the Second World War.  For the course of the War, she was used to transport stone, aggregate and sand for submarine facilities.

After the war, INTEGRITY was based in Bergen and carried salt fish to Portugal from the Lofoten Islands.  She was brought back to England in 1991 by her current owner, who is in the process of restoring her original layout.  She may be the last of the Lowestoft sailing drifters.

In 2011 she was reported to have been broken up at her mooring.
