History
SARAH BIRCH is a barge of iron construction built by W H Warren of New Holland and worked out of Beverley where she was owned by a Tannery. She was originally fitted with an inboard diesel engine by J T H McLaren of Leeds.
From at least 2020-2025 she was owned by Maurice Hirst and was at one point undergoing restoration at Hirst Boat Builders of Knottingley.
As of 2026, SARAH BIRCH has been acquired by Viking Marine of Goole, and is undergoing restoration.
