History
SULAIR is an ex-Royal Navy 35 foot Medium Speed Motor Boat (MSMB) of timber double diagonal construction with twin inboard diesel engines by Foden, 80 hp each. She was built in 1961 at Fairlies Yacht Slip in Scotland and is built to an Royal Naval pinnace design. She was carried for a time on the RN Depot Ship HMS Maidstone. SULAIR is at present under restoration in Liverpool and is intended as a community restoration project representing an historic naval past.
