History

GLENMORE was built by R. Moores & Sons of Wroxham and was the first of three of the same design.  Subsequent craft were named Glenmore 2 and Glenmore 3.  GLENMORE also had the first of six hulls supplied by Bourne Plastics to Moore's.

Originally used on their hire fleet, no significant changes have been made to the vessel with the exception of the fitting of bow and push pit rails, together with the electrics which were updated to 240v via an inverter and the fitting of shore power.

She was sold to Herbert Woods at Potter Heigham in the late 70's/ early 80's and renamed Eastern Light.

She continued as a hireboat with Wood's until 1988 until she was purchased by Mr & Mrs Rock.

Sold Glenmore in 1997 through a brokerage known as Julie's Boat Sales.
