History

SEAFISH was built in 1927 at King's Lynn for the Eastern Sea Fisheries Commission and was used  by the Lynn baliff as a research and patrol vessel in the Wash for protection of shell fish.The baliff Mr Mann, went down to the wash daily and observed the mussels and cockles and on occasion made repsresentation to the committee wh gav orders for shifting.

She was later converted to a motor sailer shrimper and used for sail training.

    SEAFISH is under new ownership, awaiting restoration.

  • 2019 Seafish has undergone first stage renovation and has participated in the Brixham Heritage Regatta over the last few years achieving first in class as a gaff rigged working boat in 2018. Second stage restoration of spars and sails will proceed in the future
