History

LONGTON is a narrow boat of composite construction built as a horse-drawn vessel by Fellows, Morton and Clayton in 1908.  In later years she became a motorised vessel but then had her engine removed.  In 2010, the vessel was underwater at Alvecote Marina where owners intend to restore her.
