History
LIBERTINE is an example of the Buchanan Prior 37, an adaptation by designer Alan Buchanan of his successful yacht 'Vashti'.
LIBERTINE is one of six built by R J Prior at Burnham on Crouch. Her mast and boom have aluminium spars, the mast being deck-stepped.
She was purchased by her current owner in August 2018 in Penarth and refitted by Rolt's Boatyard, in Bristol.
Since 2021 she has been kept in Kusasadi in Aydin province on Turkey’s Aegean coast, from where she cruises the Aegean. In 2021 she had a new Vetus 33 hp engine installed and in 2024 she had the water tank replaced. 2025, she is being re-caulked again
