The Nord-Norsk Fartøyvernsenter or Vessel Preservation Center of Northern Norway (NNFA) is one of 3 national vessel preservation centers. Our primary goal is to preserve and pass on knowledge about restoring, maintaining and running older wooden boats and vessels with a certain historical value. We restore boats and vessels according to traditional techniques and working methods with antiquarian guidelines.
