Bessie Ellen is looking to build up the company crew for the 2026 season.
We are looking for those with experience both at sea and maintaining traditional rigs and rigging. Knowledge of refit work also a bonus.
Key skills include:
Preparation of painting and varnish
Block maintenance
Splicing and seizing wire and rope
Rigging up gaff vessels
All relevant and up to date documentation
If you are keen to experience the world of wooden ships then we are looking for Chief Mates, Bosuns, Deckhand's and Cooks.
All positions are paid
Start dates early January.
