The Thames Sailing Barge Trust are looking for a person to manage our fundraising activities over the next few years. The Trust hopes to start a major project relating to the restoration of one of its Thames sailing barges, Centaur, in the next few years and funds need to be raised for various aspects of the project including restoration, activities, training and the creation of a heritage hub.
The Trust is a registered charity and is run by volunteers, we have no paid staff, hence this role will be unpaid.
The candidate should be experienced in identifying grant opportunities, putting applications together and producing ongoing reports if required by the funder.
You will have a role on the Trust's committee which reports monthly. The role can be completed at home and there is no requirement to travel to our base in Maldon, Essex, although you may need to be able to attend a few meetings as and when required. You will report to the Trustees.
