Shipwrights wanted - Traditional Boat Building & Restoration

Stirling and Son are looking for Shipwrights to join our team in Plymouth, UK, working on traditional wooden boats.

The work includes a wide range of boat building and restoration, including timber repairs, planking, joinery and general yard work on classic and traditional vessels.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience in traditional wooden boat building or marine carpentry

Can plan their work and complete tasks to a high standard

Is reliable and able to work independently when required

Shows initiative and keeps themselves productive

Is willing to help with general yard tasks to keep work moving ahead

Works well as part of a team and takes care of yard equipment

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
