The Daniel Adamson Preservation Society are looking for people to join their Board of Trustees!
Our Trustees volunteer their time and expertise to strategically lead the Daniel Adamson Preservation Society - ensuring that we continue to meet our legal obligations as a registered charity.
They support in ensuring that our business plan is robust and financially sustainable and that the society is safe, representative of the needs of our passengers, communities and stakeholders.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to go the extra mile to help support the society. We’re interested in hearing from people who feel they can positively contribute to the board - in particular with following skills and experience:
Learning, education and community engagement.
In particular, we’re excited to hear from people with experience of safeguarding policy and procedures or working on inclusive, engaging and inspiring educational projects and activities.
Strategic planning
Helping to support the charity to ensure that it is robust, resilient and respondent to the challenges of operating an historic vessel combined with ever changing business need.
Experience of financial management systems, accountancy and legal /governance.
Fundraising experience, such as corporate sponsorship, fundraising campaigns, bid writing, trusts and foundations or individual giving.
Experience of reaching and engaging people through social media marketing, such as video content and reels.
