History

SENORA is a ketch rigged yacht built in 1908 by Archibald Malcolm on the Isle of Bute. She is believed to have served in both world wars. A previous owner was the former P&O Chairman, Lord Inchcape. At one time she had a 3 cylinder Gardner paraffin engine which was technically advanced for her time.

From 2016, SENORA was undergoing restoration by the Senora Trust in Sunderland. In 2023 she was offered for sale as a restoration project for a nominal £1.

Update, 2026: Believed to be under new ownership and undergoing restoration.
