History

KNIGHTS CROSS was built as a twin screw gentlemans motor yacht by Staniland Yachts in 1948 and is a  vessel of pitch pine construction. Her  original  Ailsa Craig 40 HP oil engines were replaced in1970 by Perkins Marine 4.236 74 HP Perkins engines rebuilt in 2000. . In 2014  a new deck was laid  - marine ply laid over pine deck and sheathed in glass and resin.
