History

Built at Thames iron work Blackwall in 1905, JONES GIBB 2 served as a pulling sailing lifeboat in Barmouth Wales from 1906 - 1939. At some point since then she was converted into a motor sailing yacht. With a beautiful cabin and a 3.41l bmc commodore engine. It is believed she was sailed and looked after on the west coast of Scotland from sometime in the 1970's until her current owner purchased her.

After a short period of neglect she has had a lot of work done to her in 2009. She is currently undergoing restoration work by the new owner.
