Volunteers (various) - SS Freshspring, Devon

The SS Freshspring is on the lookout for enthusiastic people to join our crew.

Do you love interacting and working with the public? We are seeking volunteers to help us between now and the end of October.

Volunteer Stewards welcome visitors on board on our regular open Sundays, help to run our Virtual Reality experience and take donations and sales.

Event Stewards help us ready the ship and welcome visitors aboard to our events.  For example, music evenings.  Event Stewards also help us off-site and attend local public events throughout the year – this includes running our Virtual Reality experience, booking steam engine rides, and talking to the public to inspire them to visit us. 

Or maybe you want to help us with event management; or offer administrative or social media skills?

We want you to get in touch! We’re looking for volunteers aged 18 or over to join us and become a part of our maritime family.

Volunteering with SS Freshspring is an opportunity to learn new skills, be part of a community, build lasting friendships, and contribute to the preservation of maritime heritage.
