History

DINGLY DELL was built we believe by Harborough Marine Services in 1969. She has a steel hull and a fiberglass top, which was added by Malcolm Braine in that way in the 1980's. She was built as a leisure canal boat and retains her original engine, a 1969 Lister 2.

After having travelled around the country’s inland waterways, she is now based in the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
