Maritima Woodcarving

Maritima Woodcarving aims to keep alive the age old profession of the ship's carver; by providing everything from compiling historical research for replica ships and restoration projects, through to the designing, carving and fixing of figureheads and associated decorative work. As a professional ship's carver, I have over the years carried out such work for replica ships, new build training ships and some of our surviving historical sailing craft from tall ships, coastal traders to classic yachts.
